snowy revolution

just to be clear, i am not in belarus at the moment. i am, however, keeping a close eye on what is going on there and praying for my friends in that nation. i'm dubbing it 'the snowy revolution' in my brain. such protests have never happened there before. perhaps it seems quenched... snow makes the ground and the world seem dead and drowned for a while, but eventually snow melts. even in belarus, eventually ;-)

as my life has been too strange for even me to properly write about, i have determined to bring you (hopefully daily) links and sundry. today, we return to a topic that has been a favourite of mine since before high school: the genius of duct tape.
